Thank you again for playing my horn fanfare and "The Mule." I've worked with outstanding musicians before, but it is always a pleasure to hear my music played by someone who displays genuine enthusiasm for the piece(s) I present them. Kudos for nailing the final notes on "The Mule"--you're the third horn player to play the piece, and so far the only one to really convey the sense of peril lurking in the finale. Let's collaborate again sometime!
Hello Tim - How were the Chinese concerts this weekend? So sorry to have to miss them because of our Gratitude Concert. You're amazing to play in all those things in one weekend! Thanks for all your help and participation!
Hello Tim! We now have six wonderful fanfares posted on the Fanfare Contest page - when you have a chance, can you give them a peek? Please pick one for Saturday's concert - any criteria you wish! Then when things calm down a bit, after your wonderful Chinese concerts and our Gratitude concert, we can pick two others for our upcoming June concert.
Tim, we all truly enjoyed the lecture/concert on the Vienna Horn last night. It was fascinating, lovely and fun! I especially loved the fanfares. Would you be willing to open our next Gratitude Concert with a Vienna Horn fanfare? That would be incredible - maybe we could even have a fanfare writing contest ...
